So, another prenatal appointment has come and gone.  In three days, I've managed to gain TWO pounds!  I'm blaming this on my recent trip to Red Robin for their awesome burger and tower of onion rings - but no regrets!  I've been pretty up and down with my weight, so we'll see where I am at next week's appointment. 

All the usual vitals for myself and baby are fine.  I'm still 1 cm dilated, and I'm now 70% effaced (which indicates how much the cervix is thinning), but the baby's head is still very high.  But good God, that internal check hurt like a bitch.  The doctor apologized a couple of times, seeing the look of pain cross my face as he performed this check.  I consider myself to have a fairly high threshold of pain, but it was seriously excruciating.
